Who is this seminar for?
This seminar is for all types of students in Middle School (6th through 8th grades).
If your student is struggling or just wants to reach that next level, this class is for them! If you nag your student to complete homework or just want to learn where you can let go, this class is for you!
This collaborative seminar will set your child on the road to developing academic skills that will help them become confident, independent, successful students.
What will be covered during the seminar?
Learning Objectives include:
- Ever changing classroom expectations
- Adolescent brain development
- Critical academic processes, including Recording Assignments Organization, Setting Priorities, Test Preparation, Grade Monitoring, Academic Support Resources
- Academic tool showcase/examples
- Parent/Student collaboration exercises
